shalom ginger sheep...

I love these girls!
I look forward to each week, for the opportunity to encourage each other and speak the truth in love.

The picture highlights something I love about RFIS.  I really appreciate the mix of Cameroonians in with us displaced people at the school.  Don't get me wrong, UBAC was pretty special too.  This just feels wholesome, I guess.

One day, people from every group will be gathered before God, praising him for bringing shalom.  Only God can take this messed up world and offer hope - a hope that you can count on for a reconciliation of differences - not just a lack of conflict, but a benefit in diversity.  Kind of like the smidge of fresh ginger in the stir fry, alongside a carrot.  They compliment each other.  Somehow God's plan will redeem, restore and guide all these different sheep 'til we become one flock, with one shepherd.  Pray for me, as I seek to 'shepherd' these girls Thursday afternoons at school.
