This last week I went through our computer, cleaning out files and moving them from one drive to the other so that the computer might work faster. Unfortunately, instead of healing it, I killed it. Suddenly the computer wouldn't even get past an initial message saying that the regular path could not be found. Like many of you, I am technologically challenged. If the computer can't find it, I sure couldn't, either.
But now it is fixed. And my mistakes are covered over - the computer is able to do exactly what it's supposed to. Some computer techie restored it. Thanks be to God!
So the situation made me think of the Psalm I've been studying - how God restores our souls, both presently and ultimately. When I'm weary, broken, discouraged, at a loss to see what to do to 'fix' myself - he restores me. He sweeps my soul clean and is a light to show me the path of righteousness.
The picture is from my front porch in Cameroon.
I know I posted a comment before. Where did it go? I am terrible at navigating this thing. Who's following whom and who's a follower of that follower and who is after me? Jeepers. I like your picture and I said earlier in my other comment that the boys are memorizing Ps. 23 and Caed says "he leads me beside quiet mahners." I love it!
