Paths of Righteousness

He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalm 23:3

I have lived many places: Zaire, Kansas, California, Cameroon, Central African Republic. With each transition I have said goodbye to people I highly respect and thoroughly enjoy. On my own, I would not choose to leave or to have others leave. But God is the one guiding; I trust him. And long ago I chose to give up my own desires in favor of what God wanted to do. So whatever it takes to guide me in righteousness, and whatever it takes to increase his glory on earth - I am in favor of it. But what a gift those people have been to me! I am thankful for the privilege of knowing you.

Recently, I have felt irresponsible in the area of communication. I love to read others' blogs, and with the friendships I have with people so far away, it is difficult to keep up with everyone. So I will attempt to share my life here with you.
